Starting as an apprentice, Terry Taylor has worked in HVAC&R since 1967. He continued this for 5 years until beginning a job in Houston. There he was a service technician for 2 years and performed commercial and industrial services. It was not long until he and his brother created a partnership in a refrigeration service company. After 7 years, Terry branched out on his own and started an ice machine leasing company called Sunbelt Ice in 1981. Sunbelt Ice later evolved into an ice packaging company. This company continued operation from 1981 until he sold it in April 2003.
Taylor Services was established in December 2003. In February 2004, Terry started subcontracting with R&R Group of San Antonio performing HVAC installation services. To date Taylor Services has installed new HVAC systems in approximately 175 ObrA Homes and New Leaf Homes in both San Antonio and Houston areas. He continues to be competitive in the bid process and successfully acquired many HVAC&R projects both large and small.
